BBVA Compass Bowl

Power Force is teaming up with the BBVA Compass Bowl this year.  The game will be played at Noon CST on Saturday January 7, 2012 in Birmingham, AL.  The SMU Mustangs and the Pitt Panthers will play at Legion Field.  Power Force will have a tent set up in the BBVA Compass Bowl Fan Zone.  All of the new styles of shoes and wristbands will be on display.  Come by to try on a pair and tell us what you think.

Power Force Athletic Shoes offer lightweight comfort and support for everyone.  The advanced cushioning system, provides excellent comfort, and support through an integrated TPU Arch Bridge.  The arch offers the lateral stability needed for running, tennis and cross training.  A full length defined tread pattern gives traction on a variety of surfaces. 

Fit: Length fits true to size.  Width is medium throughout.  Arch support is low.  No-breaking in is required.

Upper: Lightweight synthetic leather and mesh.  Shoe contains a soft-molded TPU stable wrap for support.  Also contains PU material on toe for protection against abrasions.

Midsole: Ion-infused insole and full length midsole.  Sculpted and integrated TPU Arch Bridge provides lateral stability. Inserts in heel and forefoot for responsive cushion and stability.

Power Force Shoe Insoles

Power Force is glad to be working with the trainers of Fit Marc.  Fit Marc is the regional distributor of Les Mills training.  This weekend, the trainers tested out the new Power Force shoes.  They all had great things to say about the shoes and have expressed what a great shoe it is for aerobics or weight training.

New Power Force Apparel Shoes
These next few weeks are going to be huge for Power Force Apparel.  The new men's and women's shoes will be out only a few weeks.  We will unveil the new website and the new products for Cyber Monday.  All of the shoes will be on sale for a low $59.99.  It will be a one day sale, so make sure to get your pair.  The shoes look and feel great!

This is a big week for college sports.  The first big week of basketball begins and we will have over 120 college basketball games on Friday and over 50 games on Saturday.  One of the most exciting games will be on Friday and will take place on an aircraft carrier in honor of Veterans Day.  Michigan State and North Carolina will face off in a rare outdoor basketball game.  Hopefully, the rain holds off and the wind isn’t that bad or this could end up like an outdoor street ball game.  Another exciting part of this game is North Carolina is starting off the season at number one.  So what better way to begin college basketball than start off watching the number one team on an aircraft carrier. 

Other top ranked teams will see action on Friday as well.  UConn, the defending national champions, will be playing and look forward to another incredible season with some major young talent.  Other top ranked teams look to kick off their season like Kentucky, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Kansas and Pittsburgh.  What teams will be real contenders?  We will begin to see this weekend who the top powerhouse programs will be.

Who Is Joe Power Force?

Joe Power Force is one of the manikins at the Power Force office.  Joe is a way to show new products and apparel that he wears.  He wears something different every day, so be sure to keep up with his pictures and videos.  These videos can be seen on YouTube and the Power Force Apparel page.  Over the past few weeks, Joe has developed quite a personality around the office as it is seen on some of his videos.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are in the driver’s seat for the national championship game and now control their own destiny.  With a big win Saturday night, the Cowboys could not only match their best start in school history, but also move up to number 2 in the BCS standings. 

Kansas State should be able to run the ball pretty well.  They are averaging 210 yards a game on the ground, while the Cowboys have a difficult time stopping the run at times.  The big problem is that Oklahoma State ranks 4^th in passing with 374 yards a game, while Kansas State’s pass defense ranks 97^th.  That doesn’t bode well for the Wildcats heading into this game.  Look for a big game from Justin Blackmon.  If the Cowboys pull this one out, they will have nine or more wins in four straight years. 

South Carolina (7-1) vs Arkansas (7-1)

Razorback Stadium, FAYETTEVILLE, AR

This is a great game this weekend that is somewhat getting overlooked due to another big SEC game this week.  It will be a huge challenge for South Carolina to go into Fayetteville and knock off the razorbacks.  With Marcus Lattimore out, the Gamecocks will look more to Conner Shaw to provide a spark in the offense.

Tyler Wilson has thrown for almost 2500 yards this season with 13 touchdowns.  The air attack of the razorbacks shows a threat to the SC defense.  This game should come down to the 4^th quarter and could be decided by turnovers.

Here is our first game of the week.  We will pick a few games every week to feature.  Our first college football game picked will take us to Las Vegas where Boise State will travel down to the desert.
